Liberty Eagle

Liberty Eagle is about a patriotic heiress/superheroine. With its patriotic thematics, it in some ways borrows from the vibe of Captain America, but perhaps more significantly the storylines focus a lot on the conflict between mentor and sidekicks. Over the years, Libby will come to accumulate a number of sidekicks, both ex and current - and whereas she may be one of the world's premiere heroines, saving the world over and over again - she may not do quite as good a job with raising her sidekicks. A great hero, but not necessarily that good of a surrogate mother. In that respect, I'm taking a lot of cues from the fabled Green Lantern/Green Arrow as well.

On the right sidebar, you can see a "Hostess Fruit Pie Ad" tweaked to be a Retroactive Comics advertisement. This one is scheduled to become my first published work - it's slated for Digital Webbing Presents #29, out in May 2006.
