A scientist and diplomat by trade, he has a wife and children in the cold subsurface seas of Europa. Yet, when called upon to lead the mission of first contact to Earth, Kal Arthos chose to leave his family behind for the duration of his mission; successfully bringing Earth to the fold of the Sol System's interplanetary community outweighed his personal happiness. Choosing an Earthlike name in order to try and facilitate interspecies understanding, he dubbed himself The European. Height: 5'9" Weight: 135 lbs. Eyes: Silver Hair: Blond Skin: Light blue Strength level: The European possesses superhuman strength enabling him to lift (press) approximately 3 tons under optimal conditions. Known superhuman powers: The European, like most inhabitants of Europa, is extremely resistant to ill effects of most types. His body generates its own heat, allowing him to survive in near absolute zero temperatures, and his aquatic adaptations make him well equipped against pressure extremes or lack of oxygen. He has very low energy needs and can survive without food and water for extended periods of time. Most toxic chemical compounds have no effect or a lessened effect on the European, as compared to a human. His immune system can ward off nearly any infection or disease known.
