Dynamite GirlReal name: Virginia MurphyOccupation: Middle school student, crimefighter Legal status: American citizen with no criminal record, still a minor Identity: Secret Place of birth: Queens, NY Marital status: Single Known relatives: Jack (father) Group affiliation: All-Mites Base of operations: New York City, NY First appearance: ALL-ALLIED COMICS #2 Origin: ALL-ALLIED COMICS #2 History: Virginia Murphy, Dynamite Girl, used to be the completely ordinary and normal teenage daughter of an Irish beat cop in New York City of the 1930s. While vacationing in the Catskill mountains, the young girl saw a starstreak hit the ground with an explosion. She went to see the crater the meteorite crash had caused, and against her better judgment, approached to study the meteorite itself. It pulsated with living energy, and when Virginia got close enough to touch, it suddenly exploded! Instead of killing the young girl, it imbued her with incredible explosive energy! With her explosive fists, the teenage Virginia fights crime and Nazi agents as Dynamite Girl! Height: 4'11" Weight: 95 lbs. Bust: A Eyes: Green Hair: Strawberry blonde Skin: Caucasian Strength level: Dynamite Girl possesses the normal human strength of a girl of her age, height, and build who engages in moderate regular exercise. Known superhuman powers: Dynamite Girl can transmute kinetic impacts into explosive energy. Whenever she is hit by an impact, such as a punch, or landing from a high fall, her body's energy levels go up, providing her with explosive energy she can release at will. She can build up energy from even such minute impacts as her feet against the ground while she runs, or by punching her fist into her palm. If not used, the explosive energy gradually ebbs away in most situations. The upper limits of her energy production abilities have not been gauged, but when highly charged, she can blast down brick walls with little effort. Limitations: Notably, Dynamite Girl is still susceptible to all the damage from the kinetic impacts that power her. She cannot survive a punch or a fall that would kill a normal person. Kinetic impacts both fill her with energy and cause normal damage to her, not only the former. File last modified at Thu, 02 Feb 2006 20:54:53 -0700 | Click to enlarge |
